First Images and Announcement Info for Neon Overpass!

Hi there! My name is Kaylee, and I’m a solo dev currently working on a cyberpunk life sim currently called Neon Overpass. I wanted to go ahead and make a dev blog for posting weekly updates and getting feedback all throughout development to make the best game possible!

Core Planned Features:

Dynamic City Life: A dense, vertical city divided into distinct districts, each with its own vibe and challenges. Visit shops, casinos, nightclubs, malls, businesses, offices, and much more in a living, breathing futuristic city inspired by Blade Runner and Cyberpunk 2077. The city features Chongqing-inspired elevated roads supported by massive pillars connecting districts and adding an imposing labyrinthine sense of verticality.

Life Simulation: Manage hunger, stamina, finances, and more while working jobs, exploring, or getting involved in the darker side of the city. Everything from rent to food to medicine costs cold, hard cash, so making sure to earn enough money through any means necessary is integral to staying alive and thriving.

Diverse NPCs: Every building and apartment is home to randomly generated NPCs, all with unique schedules, routines, and personalities. On top of that, there will be over 100 hand crafted NPCs around the city with larger roles to play or features to offer.

Customizable Player Experience: Play as a human, cyborg, or android with unique traits, augments, and playstyles each time. Augments can drastically enhance or alter the way you approach the game, so strategic use of them could be key to your success!

Challenge Story Mode: Choose from a variety of characters, each with their own goals and challenges to work towards while avoiding their specific lose conditions. Uncover the city’s secrets from every possible angle to piece together the true happenings in the Neon City.
